Aarushi Shrivastav is an emerging writer, director, passionate about bringing unique ideas to life. Raised in India, she grew up immersed in Indian media, shaping her perspective and giving her a distinct voice. Currently a junior Film major at Pratt Institute in NYC, she has worked on short film sets, collaborated with a production company, and directed her own short film—gaining first hand experience in how filmmaking is equal parts vision, problem-solving, and controlled chaos.

She thrives in the creative process bringing ideas from concept to reality.
Her work often explores contemporary issues, questioning media consumption and human existence in the digital world. Recently, she’s been drawn to television—the kind that takes its time, builds real, lived-in characters, and embraces complexity. She has a deep love for both comedy and drama, believing the best stories exist in the balance between the two.

Aarushi is always eager to learn and collaborate. Beyond filmmaking, Aarushi is learning the ropes of producing, constantly seeking new challenges to expand her skill set. She is always up for a brainstorming session over a good cup of chai. Whether it’s discussing films, exploring storytelling, or making something exciting happen—she’s always open to connecting.
